Klodi Gorica

Full Professor in University of Tirana, Faculty of Economy Albania, CEO/Executive Director of Institute for Sustainable Development, Environment and Tourism (www.inset.al). From 2011 to 2016 she has been Vice Dean in Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. She has been member of Scientific Council 2008-2012, and after 2016 member of Council of Professors; National Expert in Higher Education Quality Assurance Albanian Agency. She is involved in international initiatives, forums and projects, not only expert but serving as Guest speaker, creating networks for Balkan and European Sustainable Tourism, monitoring, creating and managing round tables and forums; member in editorial board/research committee/keynote speaker in international journals and conferences, and international experiences in training and teaching since 1997 in universities abroad. Author and coauthor in different scientific books, monographs published from Springer and IEDC, Slovenia; publishing article in international scientific conferences and journals. Member and substitute in COST Action Project (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). Also co proposal of 4 COST action for 2020.

Dr. Majlinda Keta, graduated from the University of Tirana with BA (Hons) "Political Science Worker" (1985) and LLB "Law", (2004). Soon after, Dr. Keta, completed her postgraduate studies in European Studies at the University of Tirana (2008), defending her thesis where she analyzed Albania's governmental quality towards the obligations of the Aarhus Convention, the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-Making on the ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE based on standards international environment. In 2015, Dr. Majlinda Keta, defended her PhD in philosophy with the binomial analysis of “Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Education” while defining the role of philosophy for the latter, the case of Albania. Dr. Majlinda Keta, has completed a number of qualifications abroad related to human and children's rights, democracy, citizenship, leadership, conflict management and solutions, education policy management and good governance, and anticorruption initiatives from international organizations and specialized agencies. There are a great number of publications related in these areas, focusing in the school curriculum and teacher qualification as well as drafting of policies and education legislation. She has a great experience in writing textbooks. It counts an extraordinary contribution to the writing of university textbooks but also hundreds of articles on the problems that concern the Albanian community today and academic life also. She stands out for her intellectual struggle for the protection of children's rights, gender equality, and sustainable philosophical development. Dr. Majlinda Keta has fulfilled numerous duties and engagements in leading positions in education, in the city of Tirana and Civil Society. Dr. Majlinda is a very active public figure, participating in many debates broadcasted on Tv discussing issues related to democracy, quality of education, Governance, political culture, governance ethics, gender equality, and the role of philosophy for sustainable development in the country, and anticorruption initiatives in the field of education policy and justice. Dr. Keta’s field of employment has a variety of engagements such as Lectors, Scientific Researchers, Project Coordinators, Civil Society Representatives in several development strategies in the country, Tirana Education Director, Text Writer Authorities, Trainer Trainers in Civic Education, Human Rights Projects democracy, conflict resolution, empowerment of women etc., Ideator and trainer for anti-corruption initiatives in education and beyond. Since 2009, Dr. Keta is a member of the Women's Philosophy Network at UNESCO
